A.  Non-Water Resistant

If “WATER RESISTANT” or “SHOWER PROOF” is not in inscribed on the case back, your watch is not water resistant or shower proof, and care should be taken not to get it wet as water may damage the movement.

B. Water Resistant or Shower Proof

 

If “WATER RESISTANT” or “SHOWER PROOF” is inscribed on the case back, your watch is designed and manufactured to withstand accidental contact with splashes of water or rain.

 

C. Water Resistant 3 Bar /3ATM (30 metres)

 

If “WATER RESISTANT 3 BAR” or “3ATM” is inscribed on the case back, your watch is designed and manufactured to withstand 3 bar (30 metres). Even though you can swim or shower with this watch, we do not recommend that you do.

D. Water Resistant 5 Bar / 5ATM (50 metres)

 

If “WATER RESISTANT 5 BAR” or “5ATM” is inscribed on the case back, your watch is designed and manufactured to withstand 5 bar (50 metres), and is suitable for swimming and taking a shower.

 

E. Water Resistant 10 Bar / 10ATM (100 metres) and 
20 Bar / 20ATM (200 metres), 50 Bar / 50ATM (500 metres)

If “WATER RESISTANT 10 BAR/ATM” or “WATER RESISTANT 20 BAR/ATM”, or “WATER RESISTANT 50 BAR/ ATM” is inscribed on the case back, your watch is designed and manufactured to withstand up to 10 bar (100 metres)/ 20 bar (200 metres) / 50 bar (500 metres) and is suitable for diving and any other water contact.
